The Tarheel Golf Foundation will Host the 2012 REX Hospital Open "Junior Invitational"

The Tarheel Golf Foundation has been chosen to host the REX hospital Open "Junior Invitational" for the third year in a row by the REX Healthcare Foundation. This past year was a huge success for the REX Junior Invitational, but we regret having to turn away many of our TGF members that wanted to play. This year we wish to give the members of the Tarheel Junior Golf Tour the first priority for entry into the REX Junior Invitational. The Tarheel Junior Golf Tour will host multiple qualifying tournaments and award exemptions into this prestigious event. Our members will have the first opportunity for the limited number of spots.

All the exemptions will be awarded based on play at difficult golf courses. Many of the tournaments also carry AJGA exemptions and are ranked by JGS and TYGA.

The REX Junior Invitational will have a GIRLS Division for 2012. The same events that give boys exemptions into the REX Junior Invitational will also award girl exemptions based on a scoring average of 77 or better. We have a real surprise for the top Two, yes Two lucky ladies in the REX Junior Girls Division. Ladies get ready to play with the pros!
